Sho' Good Times!

Our show the other night with Whiskey Kiss and Brea Burns & the Boleros was magical! We don't get to play bands like these very often as we may be a little "too in your face" with our songs and sound. That said, Whiskey Kiss threw caution to the wind and hired us for this show, and it was a blast! I don't think we've had a audience so fun in a while and it felt good! We brought along our local freelance photographer, Christopher Reed who also works with AZ Culture, to capture our show! That's Mr. Steve Pete on drums filling in for Benno!

Ahhh, 2018 was awesome!!! It all started with a new bass player and then we went from there with right around 50 live shows for the year, and probably most importantly, the next album was almoooooooooooooooooooost finished... Sure, "finished," would have been better, but it's all us something to look forward to for 2019, right!?!?! We don't have a release date, but it will be awesome!!!! I'll probably post the album cover soon...until then, please enjoy a new version of our logo by DezignZ by Soup!

Sidepony Express Music Festival 2018

Blushing Cactus Photography

I'm telling you, without photos, this isn't as fun. I mean, it's fun, just photos confirm the fun. We very much look forward to working with Blushing Cactus Photography in the near future!

SunUp Brewing Co.

A wee bit of a last min show...

Anything, Anything (I'll Give You)

Here's how it went...

Saturday had a heat advisory here in Phoenix so that, along with maybe not enough folks expected in attendance, the show was moved to the indoor stage. That, my friends, was a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge bummer, I'm not going to lie; I worked my "lemons to lemonade" haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard................ Andy had worked so hard to sell tickets, we worked hard getting our honorary Honey Shaker from the Hardways, Nate, up to speed on our songs, and well, I wanted that big stage! It's been a while since we've been on one it seems, and then to finally, F I N A L L Y open for a grand band, well, I wanted that stage! I will say that playing on the small stage was, in the end, probably less nerve wracking so maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe it was for the best…maybe.

Sound at BLK Live is amazing and we give a huge shout out to their sound engineer, George Blake.

With that set, you know it rocked, from the first song to the last! With those songs, a lot of friends and family in attendance, and knowing you’re going to hear your cover song LIVE from the rock band who freaking wrote it and I’m sure with a gold (or more) record of it…there’s no way to put that into words…

Then you meet Dramarama after the show to tell them how awesome they were and then they tell YOU that YOU did a great job? Shut up! I mean, these guys are the real deal…their show was AMAZING!!! Talk about rocking from the first song to the last!!! And funny, we were talking with their super, kickass bass player, Mike Davis, and drummer, Tony Snow, after their show, and let me tell you, hearing them with their mad-crazy-good skills telling YOU that you did a great job and validating what YOU do…I can’t even! I will share one thing that Mike said...he heard us before he saw us, then saw us, and he knew he had a rock show on his hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Dramarama fans. They didn’t know who we were and could have easily ignored us. Luckily for us, they didn’t and instead, cheered us on, high-fived us after the show and picked up our merch! Thank you, guys!!! And our friends and family…you know WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

It's not every day a legendary rock band tells you that your band did a good job bringing the rocking or mentions your band during their show. Nope, not every day at all. Thank you, Eric Fransen, for sharing this with us. I hope you have FB...
