Last Saturday was great. In the afternoon, Mike and I played at the Desperado Film Festival. The night before, I attended the event to watch the movie at about country music star, Chely Wright. It was awesome in all respects. Chely will be the Grand Marshall at this year’s Phoenix Pride Festival as well as performer, and I look forward to seeing her. Later Saturday evening, Mike and I played a short set at the Sail Inn and rocked as hard as a duo could, missing Andy a ton at both shows. We look forward to going back to the Sail Inn with our full band! Major shout outs to the lads at Paradise Valley Community College and Ken at the Sail Inn for making us sound awesome at these shows!!
Andy was back Thursday and joined me at ASU for their event, Alive at 5. Some seriously dark clouds threatened our performance, but they had more bark than bite as it turned out and we stayed dry for a great show. Last night we rocked the Rogue as a trio. I swear, we were there too! Jake from Roll Acosta was super cool and we hope to meet up again. The Foley’s were great; we didn’t get to catch Field Tripp. Again, the sound was awesome, major props to Travis at the Rogue. Thanks, new fans, for your time and comments. We really appreciated it! We look forward to going back to the Rogue with our full band, keep an eye out for us!
