I think it was in April this year that Andy and I played an acoustic show at ASU when we met Maria Fossler who was there visiting her college kiddo. Most of the time when we play our acoustic shows I figure about half the folks listen to the music and even that may be a bit high. On this night, not only did Maria listen to us, she laughed at some of my lyrics, which was great since some of them are meant to be funny! On her way out she handed me her card, said she was a photographer and offered us a photoshoot sometime. We became FB friends and I've kept up with her. A few weeks ago I asked if she had some time to shoot Andy and me for some promo shots for our acoustic shows. Maria and I met in advance at a spot that I thought would think great, Amado's Mexican restaurant in Tempe on McClintock and Guadalupe; I stop by this place a lot and I just love it. They recently added a drive thru window which I am thrilled about, and on the outside, they painted a new mural which is just beautiful. We all met there on a Monday night, including her daughter, Julia and Maria’s husband, Christian, all part of her ace team, then Andy and I just hung out while they did their photo magic.
